2005 Vintage Quilt and Textile Tour - France

Images and Comments

The SUD (study library) at Le Musée de L'Impression Sur Étoffes (The Museum of Printed Textiles) in Mulhouse contains 1000's of volumes of sample books and mounted fabrics and easily has over 3,000,000 textile samples dating from the mid 18th Century.  Our tour was allowed to freely examine and photograph fabrics of our choosing.

Julia Zgliniec captured the group's sentiment during her time in the SUD:
"I think I have died and gone to Mulhouse."
